Ungaro Dropped, Luella Stopped, ANTM Revamped +VS Shuffled = LDV Fashion Scoop

I realize the turn around in fashion news is just extremely too fast at times, and the last thing I ever want to do is leave my darling readers out of the loop. Whenever the heap gets to be too much, I plan too sum it all up in one scoop! Here we go.
  • After it's disastrous Spring 2010 collection, Emanuel Ungaro has been dropped from Neiman Marcus and Net-a-Porter like a bad habit! The high-end department store and online retailor are crucial outlets which determine the success of any established fashion house. This is the opposite of good news. Would the insertion of "Creative Director", Lindsay Lohan have anything to do with it? Just this week, Emanuel Ungaro, 76, who left his eponymous fashion house years ago expressed his frustration with Lindsay. “I’m furious but there isn’t a thing I can do. I have absolutely no link with that house.”

  • And the economic storm keeps rising, blasting a gusty blow so strong that it knocked Luella Bartley out of business! With clients like Alexa Chung and Katy Perry, no one saw this coming. Alexa started her own grass roots campaign to help the doomed line by blasting #saveluella messages through her twitter account. Meanwhile, to clear stock, the brand is slashing prices via their website, so get it before it's gone.

  •  The Daily News says prime-time talk show queen, Tyra Banks isn't taking her ANTM ratings slumps lying down. She's taking action to avoid further drops by enlisting Kimora Lee Simmons and Andre Leon Talley as judges. I can't wait for that panel. Bring back wacky Janice and I'm sold!

  • With Gisele and Adriana preggers, Karolina and Heidi recently dropping their loads, the annual Victoria Secret Fashion Show has seen better days. But, no need to panic! The show will take place as usual on November 19th and air on December 1st, but with a crop of new angels added to the lineup, including Chanel Iman and Rosie Huntington Whiteley.
