Chanel Iman does “Minni Im Wunderland” for Vogue Germany

There's something about this spread that just pop to me. It incorporates some of my favorite things: elephants, the color red, the sunrise, bows, plaid, and the influence of Minnie Mouse. Deep down inside I'm really just a girlie girl. I love that in a dark and "over-sexualized" world, Chanel Iman has managed to escape and capture true innocence, youth, and fun. What do you think?

Is this the reverse black face? Here are a few shots of Chanel Iman for Deutsch Magazine shot by David Roemer. Either way she still looks great.

Chanel Iman & Jourdan Dunn Pose for Teen Vogue November '09

Yesssssss! This progress thing is much like a pendulum... But I am sooooo glad to see 2 Black models on the cover of Teen Vogue! Gorgeous! Let the trickle begin!

The ladies are giving me very early '90s Naomi and Tyra (before the catfights). What do you think of the cover?

The Ferocious Four. These ladies literally ate this editorial shot by Emma Summerton and styled by Edward Enniful. I'm loving the the grand nod to the 90s era, since fashion has been so over saturated with 80s references as of late. I love them all but I think Chanel Iman's personality stood out the most. Who's your favorite? Check out the video at the shoot below. It really showcases their individual personalities. Chanel's more spunky yet cool, Arlenis has a sweet innocence about her, Sessilee is energetic and edgy, and Jourdann is the sophisticated Brit.

Chanel Iman, Sessilee Lopez, Jourdan Dunn, & Arlenis Sosa Cover i-D September 09

i-D does it again. My favorite 4 models crushing the game now are serving the signature eye wink for i-D's September issue. Diversity, spunk, and individuality-- this is the future of fashion! I couldn't have asked for a better cover myself!

Two For One: Chanel Iman Covers Harper's Bazaar Dubai + Iman Chats it up with RL Muse Ubah Hassan

It really puts a smile on my face when I see black women continuously breaking barriers in their respective fields. Here we have Chanel Iman, whose being dubbed as the new Tyra Banks capturing a solo cover of Harper's Bazaar and the vid below shows up and coming Somalian model, Ubah Hassan talking to vet Iman. Making moves indeed.
